DANNY J PLAYER
PRODUCER - REMIXER -DJ
Danny was born in sunny San Diego, where he grew up listening to 90s Hip Hop, 80s Funk, and Salsa.
Around the age of ten, he began making mix-tapes using his father’s old stereo sound system. This would become the stepping stone to Danny’s passion for music.
At the age of thirteen, he came across Fruity Loops (FL Studio), a music producing software, where he began producing Hip Hop music on a daily basis. As of today, Danny still uses FL Studio for all of his music productions/remixes. At seventeen, however, his musical tastes and influences changed dramatically.
By the beginning of 2005, Danny began to explore and expose himself to various new genres such as House, Electro, Trance, Techno, and Arabic. These genres have become the key ingredients to creating the unique sound that Danny has crafted to this day.
In 2006, he began releasing tracks which created positive exposure on the internet via MySpace. These tracks became the first building blocks that helped Danny build fan bases in areas such as San Diego, Los Angeles, New York, and parts of Europe.
In 2007, he released his first self-produced CD album titled “House De Neon,” which featured a mix of Techno, Hip Hop, and Arabic.
During June 2008, Danny began what could be his biggest musical transition yet. After exploring musical genres such as Trance and Progressive, he launched his very own show, The Dirty Nights Show. The Dirty Nights Show has already gained a fan base worldwide in countries throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
In addition to Danny’s show, his 2nd album, Sunset Cliffs, was released in January 2009. Sunset Cliffs caught the ears of many from across the world, allowing Danny to be featured on radio stations such as Digitally Imported Radio, TranceNet, LugaRadio, and more.
In 2010 and 2011, two tracks from Sunset Cliffs, "Changes" and "A Million Places," were signed and released by MOSP Recordings. This would be a huge step for Danny as these would be the first record label signings for Danny.
In 2014, Danny collaborated with "A Million Places" singer Taran Gray, and remixed Taran Gray's single "Rocket To The Moon." Danny's remix was signed and released by Octane Recordings.
From 2014 to present day, Danny has been working tirelessly on his productions, remixes, and episodes for the Dirty Nights Show.
It seems that as time progresses, Danny’s passion for music grows as well. Keep an eye on this guy.
